Dear All,
I just wanted to express my great thanks for the terrific week we had in Malta. The Conference was regarded by many as the best one that SCEE has ever put on, and we received many congratulations from all across the company, some of which you will have heard on Thursday evening. Putting on a Conference of this size (1100 people) is very much a team effort, as you will all be aware, and I am particularly delighted at the way in which all parties and agencies worked together so effectively and harmoniously.
One of the most gratifying areas of praise was in the interaction between the delegates and the event staff, from whichever organisation they came. This was universally positive, and the helpfulness, maturity and good humour of the event staff was frequently remarked upon.
I would appreciate it if you could please pass on our grateful thanks to all of your staff who took part in the Conference. Whilst for them it was probably just another conference, their professionalism and commitment made it one of our best ever, and each of them played a part in achieving that distinction.
