As a destination, Malta exceeded our expectations. We were hoping for an interesting place with a few culturally and/or historically significant sites as well as good weather.

To our surprise -- and delight -- we found a place literally steeped in history and with something for absolutely everybody.  Whether your interests run to religious and political history or to Renaissance art or to nature and natural wonders or to food and wine there is something in Malta for every imaginable enthusiasm. 

The people are fantastic -- open, friendly and proud of their fascinating country.

The distances are minimal so you can see a tremendous amount and yet, at the same time, there is great diversity on each of the islands.

Malta is a wonderful, wonderful place for any type of event.
